Those Folk and Haystack Mountain Hermits are thrilled to be presenting a MATINEE CONCERT on Saturday the 17th of May, 2025 at Zamia Theatre in Mt Tamborine. This show will feature folk and bluegrass music, plenty of singing and picking and lots of great stories and laughs. The Zamia Theatre is a cherished heritage venue in the beautiful mountain town of Mt Tamborine in the Gold Coast Hinterland - which also happens to be home for the Haystack Fam. Thanks for supporting live music - we look forward to performing for you all! MATINEE CONCERT TIMING 2:3pm Doors 3pm Music (Please note that there will also be an evening concert, so be sure to buy the tickets for your preferred time of day) ... THOSE FOLK ‘Those Folk’ are a husband & wife musical duo comprised of songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, Lawrence Menard and Clare Quinn. A partnership forged in the fires of folk music, their songwriting explores love, hope, belonging, and the human condition. Breathtaking vocal harmonies are featured alongside guitar, accordion, mandolin & banjo. HAYSTACK MOUNTAIN HERMITS Haystack Mountain Hermits is a multi-award-winning bona fide family band with roots steeped in folk and bluegrass. They are all related (and have the birth certificates and embarrassing photos to prove it), all multi-instrumentalists and all go. They play. They sing. They fight. And they just might charm your socks off.

We acknowledge the Wangerriburra people and all Traditional Custodians of the lands and waterways upon which we live, tour and perform. Aboriginal songlines trace back through millennia and we acknowledge, with deep respect, that theirs is the oldest continuing musical culture in history. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present, for they carry the cultural wisdom, stories, traditions and dreaming.
