Homemade Jam in Tenterfield

Saturday, March 14 @ 7:00PM (AEDT, UTC+11)Sat, Mar 14 @ 7:00PM (AEDT, UTC+11)

School of Arts, Tenterfield, 201/205 Rouse St, Tenterfield

The School of Arts, Tenterfield Inc. would like to present to you our first event of the year! The Haystack Mountain Hermits Saturday 14th March, 2026 Doors 6pm for a 7pm start. Blistering bluegrass, beautiful ballads, and brutal family banter - Haystack Mountain Hermits are a multi-award-winning bluegrass-folk family band delivering sensational stories, blood harmonies, and exceptional musicianship with heart and humour. Winners of third place in the 2024 Australian Folk Music Awards People’s Choice, and Top 3 People’s Choice in the 2025 Gold Coast Music Awards, the Hermits have become festival favourites across Australia. Their performances are packed with driving rhythm, sensational solos, internationally recognised songwriting, and the unmistakable chemistry that only family can create. Known for their vintage vibe around a single condenser mic, the Hermits appear in Tenterfield for the first time with Homemade Jam - their live show jam-packed with songs, stories, and the kind of chaos that keeps audiences coming back for more. Don’t miss this family serving up bluegrass with a side of mischief!

We acknowledge the Wangerriburra people and all Traditional Custodians of the lands and waterways upon which we live, tour and perform. Aboriginal songlines trace back through millennia and we acknowledge, with deep respect, that theirs is the oldest continuing musical culture in history. We pay our respects to Elders, past and present, for they carry the cultural wisdom, stories, traditions and dreaming.
